Pakistan - Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) for Refrigerated Containers

In order to ensure quality service catering to your equipment and space needs for refrigerated shipments, Hapag-Lloyd Pakistan is introducing a Booking Cancellation Fee specifically for refrigerated containers.

In case of cancellation, customers are requested to inform our booking desk
[email protected] at least 48 hours prior to respective FCL Cut-off date, failing which the Booking Cancellation fee will be applicable.

This fee will enhance booking reliability and will assist in efficiently allocating space and equipment for you.

These charges will come into effect from December 1, 2020 onwards for refrigerated based cargo as follows:

Export from Pakistan:

  • The Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) will be applicable for both scenarios; complete booking is not utilized or non- utilization of any container slot in the booking.
  • Reducing number of containers in a booking will be treated as booking cancellation and charged the same way. The fee will apply for any container reduction, as well as for No Show.
  • All booking amendments, cancellation or postponement to the vessel later than the first available sailing will be subject to BCF.
  • BCF will only apply if cancellation is initiated by the customer.
  • BCF will be applicable for all contracts.
  • BCF will be invoiced to the Booking Creation Party.
