As per our previous announcement, due to ongoing congestion in the port of Auckland caused by reduced terminal labour and productivity, we will now extend the application and implement a Congestion Surcharge for Transshipment cargo via Auckland.
The Congestion Surcharge Origin / Destination (CGO/ CGD) of USD 250 per TEU will be implemented as follows:
- Export cargo transship via Auckland to non-FMC trade lanes:
– CGO effective from vessels departing origin on or after 20th February 2021
- Import cargo transship via Auckland from non-FMC trade:
– CGD effective from vessels departing origin on or after 20th February 2021
- Export cargo transship via Auckland to FMC-regulated lanes:
– CGO effective from vessels departing origin on or after 22nd March 2021
- Import cargo transship via Auckland from FMC-regulated lanes:
– CGD effective from vessels departing origin on or after 22nd March 2021
