Hong Kong Office – Invoice Currency

Please be informed that with effect from April 1st 2021, there will be adjustments to how invoice currency will be issued for Hapag-Lloyd (Hong Kong office). The default invoice currency will be maintained as per tariff or contract term unless it is in currencies other than USD or HKD.

Details as follows:

• Invoice currency will be issued in USD for USD charge items as per tariff or contract term.
• Invoice currency will be issued in HKD for HKD charge items as per tariff or contract term.
• Invoice currency will be issued in HKD if currencies other than USD or HKD is used in the tariff or contract term.

If specific invoice currency is required (e.g. only HKD invoice required), it will be subject to an Invoice Amendment Fee (IAO) at HKD 550 per invoice.
