Brand new! Your latest UK & Ireland updates in June

We at Hapag-Lloyd take your feedback seriously and continuously thrive to improve your experience. Thank you for your patience and ongoing support as we work towards this. In our most recent Customer Experience Survey you requested the need to receive regular updates and up-to-date information on key topics and developments concerning your business activities with Hapag-Lloyd in the UK and Ireland. Something we follow with pleasure. For today, read about the current transport situation, get to know our new Customer Service Director Roslyn Roden and find out more about our new office location in Dublin. Enjoy the read!

Current transport situation in the UK

The UK transport sector is going through a very difficult phase at present. Both inland and port terminals are over congested causing disruption and delays to their operations, rail routes in and out the major deep sea container ports are regularly oversubscribed. To add to this list, the biggest issue the industry is now facing is a major shortage of class 1 truck driver supply to the market. Rest assured however that our staff is constantly reviewing the situation with our transport suppliers to see how we can alleviate these issues and support you as best we can. We have increased the volume of carrier haul activity this year, and will continue to improve our service levels as we strive towards becoming the number one quality carrier as part of our Strategy 2023 initiative.
