Please be advised that Hapag-Lloyd will apply a General Rate Increase (GRI) from USA and Canada West Coast to Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, and Indian Subcontinent as outlined below, with effective date August 1, 2021.

Please find the details of this GRI as follows

• Scope: all container types 20’ and 40’, for all dry, reefer, non-operating reefer, tank, flat rack, and open-top containers.
• Origin or via Port of Loading (POL) : Los Angeles, USA (USLAX), Oakland, USA (USOAK), Long Beach, USA (USLGB), Seattle, USA (USSEA), Tacoma, USA (USTIW), Vancouver, CA (CAVAN), Prince Rupert, CA (CAPRR)
• Destination: Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, Indian Subcontinent
• USD 1000 for all container types

Please find below the detailed geographical scope:

• Arabian Gulf: United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, and the Saudi Arabia destinations of Dammam, Riyadh, and Jubail.
• Red Sea: Jordan and the Saudi Arabia destination of Jeddah.
• Indian Subcontinent: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
