Tacoma, USA: Husky Terminal Policy effective November 1, 2021

As announced by Husky Terminal on their website, they have introduced an emergency surcharge effective November 1, 2021 levied on local import containers that have exceeded 15 calendar days on the terminal. This will be a USD 315 Long Stay Rehandling Charge.  

The payment will be due to the terminal prior to release and payable through their online portal or CargoSprint. Please note that this is a terminal announced and levied charge which, paid directly to the terminal, will be for the account of the merchant.

In the meantime, we are continuing to proactively notify our customers of containers that are dwelling which, if not gated out immediately, will result in this Long Stay Rehandling Charge.
