Here's an update for our Transpacific services

Here's an update on our Transpacific services East Coast Loop 1 (EC1), East Coast Loop 2 (EC2), and Pacific North Loop 3 (PN3). Hapag-Lloyd and THE Alliance partners continue to work towards improving the schedule reliability from Asia to the East and West of North America. With your cargo planning in mind, you will find below the measures that have been agreed to last for eight consecutive voyages:

East Coast Loop 1 (EC1)

  • We will be omitting Hong Kong starting with MV Basle Express V 043E at Kaohsiung on April 8, 2022. We will be able to offer an ad-hoc transshipment connections via Kaoshiung.
  • There will be alternating omissions between Manzanillo and Rodman, Panama starting with MV Basle Express V 043E that will start omitting Manzanillo. It will be followed by an omission at Rodman with MV Hyundai Victory V 045E. From there on, there will be alternating omissions between Manzanillo and Rodman for the consecutive voyages.
  • We will omit the Port of Charleston, USA starting with MV Hyundai Victory V 045E at Kaohsiung on April 15, 2022. As alternative, you can use our EC2 or East Coast Loop 4 (EC4) services, or re-route your cargo via Savannah.

East Coast Loop 2 (EC2)

  • We will start omitting Qingdao, China starting with MV Rome Express V 09E at Ningbo on April 9, 2022. Exports and imports from and to Qingdao will be transshipped via Pusan, Korea through other Hapag-Lloyd services.
  • Starting with MV ONE Wren V 017E at Ningbo on April 16, 2022, we will start omitting the eastbound (EB) and westbound (WB) calls at Cartagena, Colombia. We will offer space on our EC1 service for cargo bound to the Caribbean, including Cartagena via Manzanillo, Panama.
  • We will extend the Savannah omission for an extra eight-week period starting with MV Rome Express V 09E at Ningbo on April 9, 2022. As an alternative, you can use our EC1 service or re-route your cargo through the port of Charleston via the EC2 and EC4 services.

Pacific North Loop 3 (PN3)

  • This service will continue with the Seattle port omission for eight additional sailings. As an alternative, your cargo can be routed via Tacoma on our PN1, PN2, and PN4 services.
