The Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs (BMSB) present a risk for agriculture and horticulture in both Australia and New Zealand. Therefore, the Australian Department of Agriculture and the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries have issued revised BMSB fumigation measures and requirements.
For your reference, the seasonal measures apply to goods shipped from target risk countries to New Zealand or Australia within the period of September 1, 2022 and April 30, 2023, including both dates. The shipped on board date will be the indicator of the date in which the goods were shipped.
