Dakar Express (DEX Service) – MV “Okee Ann Mari” 1916S

With reference to our earlier letter dated April 30, 2019 informing about the main engine failure on MV “Okee Ann Mari” (Voyage 1916S), please note that the vessel is currently berthed at a layby pier in Dunkirk. Technicians are on board of the vessel and trying to rectify the problem at earliest possible time.

We are in direct and regular contact with the vessel owner, with the aim to protect interests of all of our customers and to ensure the earliest resolution of this incident.

Since the continuation of the voyage depends on the uncertain completion of the main engine repairs, we are currently doing our utmost to get a reliable forecast and work on developing alternative solutions to remedy the situation.
