Saudi Arabia - Revision of Local Charges

Revision of Stevedoring Charges for Containers and Introduction of Dangerous Goods / Gate pass & Box Handling Charges

Reference to MAWANI circular No. (60) for the year 2020 regarding modifications performed by MAWANI on the port tariff.

Please be informed that in accordance with item (3) of four of article (28) of MAWANI regulations for Marine Agents, which gives Marine Agent the right to recover service charges in accordance to its original value as stated in the tariff.
As such, stevedoring charges for containers would be changed, along with DG / Gate pass & box handling charges.

These changes will be effective December 19, 2020 and can be found online here.
