Dakar Express (DEX) - Booking Stop to Mauritania

The accumulated operational constraints at the port of Nouakchott (Mauritania), resulting from shortened operating hours after the recent labor action, are further impacted by the new local COVID-19 restrictions. This is leading to extensive port stays and is challenging the schedule integrity of our DEX service.

Hapag-Lloyd is therefore announcing a temporary global booking stop to Nouakchott, with immediate effect and until further notice.
Please also expect delays in delivery to Mauritania for existing bookings.
