Port of Los Angeles / Long Beach: Customs Clearance for Rail Containers to assist with Congestion

Due to the on-going terminal congestion, rail car, truck power and chassis shortages in Southern California, we highly recommend our customers to clear US customs at the ports in Los Angeles and Long Beach for all containers being transported inland by rail. This will allow Hapag-Lloyd the added flexibility to stage containers off-dock as required.
