With your cargo planning in mind, please be aware of the temporary closure of rail access to the western section of the Port of Hamburg, Germany driven by infrastructure work related to the "A26 West" construction project.
From Friday, July 4, 2025 at a.m. CEST until Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 7 a.m. CEST, the rail connection between inland terminals and the container terminals CTA, CTB, and CTH will be fully suspended.
This interruption is expected to affect the rail-based delivery and pickup of containers at the impacted terminals. Please note that Carrier’s Haulage bookings involving rail transport to or from Hamburg may be declined during this time, as alternative capacities will be extremely limited. If you require more information related to this change, please contact your nearest Hapag-Lloyd office who will guide you based on your individual situation
