We would like to inform you that with effect from 22nd February 2021, Hapag-Lloyd will introduce a new YRD handling procedure from Chongqing to Wuhan. The scope is for both import/export shipments to Wuhan, Changde, Changsha, Huangshi, Jingzhou, Jiujiang (JX), Nanchang, Yichang and Yueyang.
Under the new procedure, Hapag-Lloyd will perform the following tasks directly instead of through appointed feeder operators:
1. Accept booking directly from Customer*;
2. Assign feeder vessel at Hapag-Lloyd’s discretion;
3. Issue Bill of Lading(s) or release other relevant document directly to Customer* or through a Hapag-Lloyd appointed Administrative Agent; and
4. Collect freight and service charges directly from Customer*.
Please take note that Hapag-Lloyd does NOT appoint any booking agent in these locations. Hapag-Lloyd offers various booking channels and digital solutions, and we encourage you to book with Hapag-Lloyd directly.
For export shipments from the locations mentioned above from 22nd February 2021, Customers* are required to send SI to firstname.lastname@example.org within the SI cut-off deadline.
