Shipping from Red Sea to Asia & Oceania? An OCR is coming up

An Operational Recovery Surcharge (OCR) is coming into effect from Red Sea* to Asia & Oceania*. The OCR is applicable to all sailings commencing on tariffing date January 1, 2024 and until further notice.

The details for this OCR are listed below:

From the Red Sea* to Asia & Oceania*

  • 20' Dry Container: USD 250
  • 40' Dry Container: USD 500
  • 40' High Cube Container: USD 500
  • 20’ Reefer Container: USD 250
  • 40’ Reefer Container: USD 500

For your reference, the geographical scope of this OCR is explained below:

*Red Sea: Egypt (Sokhna), Jordan, Saudi Arabia (Western Province) and Yemen.
*Asia & Oceania: Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Japan, Republic of Korea, China (PRC), Hong Kong (PRC), Macau (PRC), Taiwan (PRC), Brunei, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
