Shipping from East Asia to North America? A PSS is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming into effect from East Asia* to North America**. This PSS is applicable for all containers gated in from June 1, 2024 until June 14, 2024.

The details for this PSS are listed below:

  • 20' Container: USD 480
  • 40' Container: USD 600
  • 45' Container: USD 600

For containers gated in from June 15, 2024, and until further notice, the PSS details will be the following:

  • 20' Container: USD 1000
  • 40' Container: USD 2000
  • 45' Container: USD 2000

For your reference, the geographical scope of this PSS is explained below:

  • *East Asia: Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan (PRC), Hong Kong (PRC), China (PRC), Macau (PRC), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia and the Philippines.
  • **North America: United States and Canada
