Shipping from Asia and Oceania to South Africa? A PSS is coming up
A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming into effect for Asia* and Oceania** to the port of Durban and Capetown, South Africa. This PSS is applicable for all cargo loaded on August 16, 2025 until further notice.
The details for this PSS are listed below:
- Per TEU: USD 200
- All container types excluding Reefer
*Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam
**Oceania: Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Island
