Italy: Updated Inland Emergency Fuel & Energy Surcharges

With reference to our previous announcement, please note that we will increase the Inland Fuel Floater (Diesel) for applicable inland services in Italy. This adjustment follows the continued volatility in international energy markets and the resulting fluctuations in diesel prices, which remain a key cost component of inland transportation and handling.

The following Inland Fuel Floater (Diesel) will apply:

  • Fuel Origin / Destination Inland (FOI / FDI): Export / Import Inland Haulage from /to Italy
  • Effective April 8, 2026 for all trades except shipments subject to FMC, which will be valid from May 8, 2026
  • Charge Level: 12% on TRUCK transports, 8% on COMBINED RAIL (RAIL+TRUCK) and 3% on RAIL (Rail only) transports
  • Equipment: all container types
