The Digital Port in Hamburg is one of our three hubs for IT and digital innovation, bringing together product, engineering, data, and platform teams in one location. Around 400 colleagues have been based in this modern and comfortable office, near our headquarter building, since the end of 2022. The office is spread over six floors to support close collaboration across disciplines as we design, build, and run scalable digital solutions for Hapag-Lloyd’s business and customer experience. A key highlight is the large event area—set up much like a TV studio—where we host global dialogues, connect teams and stakeholders across regions, and help shape the technologies and digital solutions that move our industry forward.
