Hapag-Lloyd opens for Udo Lindenberg's mega painting

Since August 2024, Hapag-Lloyd at Ballindamm is home to a very special work of art: Udo Lindenberg (78) created the largest painting of his life especially for Hapag-Lloyd. It measures 6.50 x 2.95 meters and hangs in the large hall of the Hamburg shipping company.

Once a month, Hapag-Lloyd opens its doors to give Hamburg residents and guests the opportunity to view the work of the Hamburg-born honorary citizen. In addition, a film will be shown that sheds light on the genesis of the work of art and captures comments by Udo Lindenberg about his painting.

The next opportunity to view the painting will be on Saturday, November 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hapag-Lloyd headquarters at Ballindamm 25. Admission is free. To register, please contact [email protected]
