Revision of Free Time – Mainland China
Please be informed that with effect from March 15, 2021, our free time for China shipments (not inclusive of Hong Kong and Taiwan) will be revised as per below summary:
Import Detention Freetime – Effective from Mar 15, 2021
*New rule will be applied according to the shipment discharge full (DIFU) date from March 15 2021 onwards.
*Import detention free time is counted from DIFU to gate in empty (GIMT).
Export Calculation Rule – Effective from Mar 15, 2021
*New rule will be applied according to the shipment gate out empty (GOMT) date from Mar 15th 2021 onwards.
*Export detention free time is counted from GOMT to vessel departure.
*Export storage free time is counted from gate in full (GIFU) to vessel departure.
Lastly, we will also align our detention and storage free time for transhipment cargo via China ports. For full details, it can be viewed via here.
For our charge tariff, the quantum will remain unchanged.
