Area Germany & Central Europe – Equipment Shortage due to Suez Canal Incident

Due to the recent Suez Canal incident, causing delayed imports into Northern Europe, we do face a further tightened EQ situation affecting our Container Depots in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Czech Republic.

Our aim is to support already confirmed Export bookings, but it is unavoidable that in individual cases bookings will have to be cancelled. We are doing our utmost to avoid these cases and to serve all our Customers as best as possible. We, however, expect the situation to remain extremely tight over the next few weeks.

We further encourage you to place new bookings electronically because only then we have full system visibility about equipment and space availability and can support you with best possible solution, if needed.
