General Rate Increase – US Gulf to Latin America

Please be informed that in light of actual market conditions, Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates as from January 1, 2019 for all cargo (dry and reefer) from US Gulf Coast Ports of loading to all Latin America destinations as follows:

  • USD 50.00 per 20' container (dry and reefer)
  • USD 100.00 per 40' container (dry and reefer)

The scope for above rate adjustment is defined as noted below:

  • US GULF: New Orleans (USMSY) and Houston (USHOU)
  • Latin America: All destination ports in South America East Coast- and West- Coast, Caribbean, Central America and Mexico.
