USA – Rail Connection Changes - Norfolk Southern

We would like to inform you that we have made changes in our rail coverage within the USA.

Effective February 11, 2019 Norfolk Southern Rail will cease offering service in the following lanes, for both import and export:

  • Austell-New Orleans
  • Birmingham -New Orleans
  • Birmingham - Charleston
  • Chicago - Ayer
  • Jacksonville -New Orleans
  • St. Louis -Charleston
  • Memphis- Norfolk

Please note that we offer alternative inland services to these lanes. We invite you to consult your local Hapag-Lloyd office for details on adequate optional routings.
