Italy – Increased Fuel Surcharge on Inland Transports

During the last month’s inland transport in Italy related costs for labor, fuel and tolls have increased substantially.

We would like to inform you that in order to recover such costs for labor, fuel and tolls, Hapag-Lloyd will increase the following Fuel Surcharge on Export (FSO) and Import (FSD) inland moves, as from March 1, 2019 as noted below:

  • Export: FSO 9,5% on Combined Rail transports
    FSO 11% on Truck transports (including One Way moves)

  • Import: FSD 7,5% on Combined Rail transports
    FSD 9 % on Truck transports (including One Way moves)
