Australia – Revision in Detention Tariff

Please note that with effect from April 2, 2019, Hapag-Lloyd will revise its Detention Charges and Freetime in Australia as follows:

Import Detention ( MHD)

Calculation: commences at the time and date the container is discharged from the vessel until returned empty to the depot.
1) Calendar days: Public Holidays are not counted.

Export Detention (MHO)

Calculation: commences from date/time of empty container pickup at Hapag-Lloyd’s designated place of interchange and ends at date/time container is returned full to the terminal.
1) Calendar days: Public Holidays are not counted.
