Enhancement of the Caribbean Express Service - CES

Please be informed that in order to strengthen and optimize our presence in the Caribbean and Central America markets to North Europe and vice versa with a continued focus on serving the Reefer segment as well as Special Cargoes we have enhanced our current and weekly Caribbean Express Service (CES) as follows:

Willemstad – Oranjestad – Kingston – Santa Marta – Puerto Limon (Moin) – Caucedo – London Gateway – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Willemstad

For export cargoes as of M/V BALAO (outbound) Voyage 002S starting in London on January 5, 2020 we will offer the new rotation in the Caribbean and Central America.

The new rotation in North Europe will start with the same voyage M/V BALAO Voyage 002N sailing from Kingston on January 22, 2020.

With these changes we will provide you with a dedicated Reefer product with highly competitive transit times and the respective connectivity to the major markets in North Europe and the Caribbean and Central America.

Vlissingen, NL has been replaced by Antwerp, BE and Cartagena, CO has been replaced by Kingston, JM in the new pro-forma Schedule. From / to Cartagena and its connected service network you will continue to use our reliable South America West Coast Service (SWX).

With this enhanced CES product Hapag-Lloyd will be able to offer two sailings per week from the U.K. into the Caribbean and with the fastest transit time from London to Kingston, JM.

With CES calling Caucedo, DO on its northbound voyage we demonstrate our commitment to our customers and this important reefer market by being the only shipping line in the market offering two direct sailings (CES and SWX) per week to North Europe.

For further information, please contact your local Hapag-Lloyd office. In addition, actual schedule data can also be viewed in the Vessel Tracing feature of the Online Business section on our website.
