Canada – Protests Impacting Rail Operations

We are currently experiencing blockades of key rail track and port infrastructure facilities throughout Canada.

The indigenous communities across the country are demonstrating against the construction of a gas pipeline in Northern BC and there was resultant disruption to passenger and cargo trains throughout the weekend.

The Federal and Provincial governments are looking to find a resolution.

It is not clear yet how long the protests could last but if prolonged there will be inevitable disruption to the rail transportation of your shipments for which we apologize.
