The latest news from Hapag-Lloyd’s ground operations at Sri Lanka indicates that the current congestion at Colombo terminals continues to affect our shipments causing delayed transshipments and loadings.

In view of the urgent need to offer re-routing solutions for your transport plans, we are pleased to introduce a fortnightly feeder connection between Chittagong and Krishnapatnam starting end November 2020. The exact date will be announced. This service will be an addition to current ones via Colombo - Sri Lanka, which shall also continue.

The sailings to/from Krishnapatnam intend to provide you with viable alternatives to connect to South East India – Express (IEX) weekly direct calls, allowing us to take care of your supply chain with improved reliability. We will closely monitor the situation around Sri Lanka operations and will keep you updated on further developments as received.
