Equipment Imbalance Surcharge - Exports from South France to East Asia

Due to the ongoing equipment shortage in South France, the overall repositioning costs to serve our customers’ requirements have increased significantly.
Therefore, we would like to inform you that effective January 15, 2021, we will implement an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EIS) for 40’ standard dry and 40’ high cube containers for all exports from South France to East Asia of

  • USD 200 per 40’GP and 40’HC container

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged respectively as announced and can be found here.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.
