Pacific South Loop 7 (PS7) - MV ONE APUS Voyage 006E - Update 6

The ONE APUS Voyage 006E, which suffered collapsed containers while the vessel was enroute to Long Beach, CA, is currently berthed in Kobe, Japan.

Following inspections and approval by the Japanese Coast Guard the removal of on deck containers is in progress and has resulted in 50 units discharged as of today.

Discharging alone is due to take at least a month or more. Additional inspection and survey work is underway on the discharged units.

Indications, from our partner ONE, are that in excess of 1800 containers were lost overboard. That is still an estimate and to be confirmed once a full assessment of the above deck containers and damage is complete.
