As per our previous announcement, the ongoing equipment shortage in North Europe causes overall increased repositioning costs to serve our customer’s requirements. While initially this was predominantly valid for 40’ standard dry and high cube containers, the situation meanwhile equally also affects 20’ standard dry containers.
Therefore, we will implement an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge also for our 20’ standard dry equipment effective March 1st, 2021 for all exports from North Europe & South France (excl. UK & Ireland) in addition to the already existing Equipment Imbalance Surcharge for 40’ standard dry and 40’ high cube equipment.
For all FMC related destinations, the EIS for 20’ standard dry equipment will be effective March 15th, 2021.
