Pacific South Loop 7 (PS7) - MV ONE APUS Voyage 006E - Update 9

The ONE APUS Voyage 006E, which suffered collapsed containers while the vessel was enroute to Long Beach, CA, remains berthed in Kobe, Japan.

Indications, from our partner ONE, are that in excess of 1800 containers were lost overboard. That is still an estimate and to be confirmed once a full assessment of the above deck containers and damage is complete.

Following inspection and approval by the Japanese Coast Guard the removal of on deck containers continues and has resulted in over 850 units discharged as of today.

The inspection and transloading of damaged discharged units remains a work in progress. Hapag Lloyd will contact customers directly for subsequent cargo arrangements for all units that were onboard ONE APUS Voyage 006E- up to and including transloading options.

At this time, Hapag Lloyd have been advised that the ONE Apus will be available to depart Kobe around mid-March 2021. This is subject to change and Hapag Lloyd will contact effected customers directly as the situation evolves and specifics become available.

Please keep in mind that the subsequent sailing of the ONE Apus will require new or amended documentation. Hapag Lloyd will be contacting effected customers to discuss AMS Submission, Customs Import Entry Submission and B/L Amendment/Reissuance as needed.

We will share further updates as information and details become available.
We regret the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding in this regard. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact your sales account representative.
