Peak Season Surcharge – Trans-Pacific Trade- East Asia to US and Canada

We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will implement Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective July 18, 2021.

PSS will be applicable for all dry, reefer, flat rack and open top containers from East Asia to US and Canada:

East Asia to North America (USA and Canada)

• USD 1000 per all 20' container types
• USD 2000 per all 40' container types

East Asia is defined as being the countries/districts of Japan, Republic of Korea, China/Taiwan, China/Hong Kong, China (PRC), China/Macau, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, The Philippines and Russian Pacific Coast Provinces.
