Shipping to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia? Here’s an important update

We would like to update you on the mandatory DG cargo declaration for containers being shipped to the port of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. The Port Authorities at this port require the submission of the final custom declaration “final BAYAN” for all shipments that require a DG permit prior to the vessel’s berthing.

Please keep in mind that these guidelines will be effective from June 30, 2021. Kindly note that the “final BAYAN” is crucial for incoming DG cargo. If this final declaration is not submitted, the related containers will unfortunately remain on board and will be subject to customs penalties.
