Shipping to or from Italy? There are inland haulage charges coming into effect

There is no easy way of saying this: we’re introducing a new Fuel Surcharge for Inland Haulage under carrier arrangement. This fuel surcharge will come into effect on August 1, 2021 until further notice.

The implementation of the Fuel Surcharge for Inland Haulage applies to all shipments from Italy to all destinations; and, for all shipments destined to Italy from all origins. The total amount of surcharges is equivalent to the percentages detailed below, over the inland haulage tariff:

For import cargo:
Truck 12.5%
Combined rail 7.5%

For export cargo:
Truck 15%
Combined rail 10%
