A Shipping Restriction for Leather in Wet State is Coming Up

If you are shipping Leather in Wet State (Wet Salted and Wet Blue as an example), also known as commodity “Wet Hides”, please note that there is a restriction coming up.

From September 1, 2021, Hapag-Lloyd Brazil will no longer accept shipments with this commodity. Please note that this restriction’s scope covers cargo moving from Brazil to Asia and Middle East destinations.

Please note that this update replaces the CustomerNEWS shared on August 23, 2021 concerning wet blue leather.
