New requirements for IM DG Class 5 Cargo for Jebel Ali, UAE

On September 9, 2021, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) from the Dubai Government, issued a circular concerning the new safety requirements for International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Class 5 Cargo for the Port of Jebel Ali. The new safety requirements cover packaging, temperature control, and port storage requirements, and will be in place from October 1, 2021.

We would like to request our customers to ensure full compliance with the IMDG Class 5 Cargo regulations, which apply to all import, export, and transshipment cargo at the Port of Jebel Ali.
