Port of New Orleans: Hurricane Ida Status final update

We would like to provide you with the following information, as informed by the New Orleans Port Authority:

Thank you for the continued dedication to the Port of New Orleans and the unwavering support and patience over the past week! This is the final notification in regards to Hurricane Ida recovery and restoration, as the container and breakbulk terminals are fully operational.

September 7, 2021 - The Napoleon Avenue Container Terminal is operating with a limited gate (no export full receiving) and started vessel operations this morning.
September 8, 2021 - The Napoleon Avenue Container Terminal will operate a full gate and full operations, resuming to NORMAL OPERATIONS.
 

Container terminal operations:

New Orleans Terminal OPEN
Ports America OPEN

Breakbulk terminal operations:

Coastal Cargo - OPEN
Gulf Stream Marine - OPEN
Ports America (breakbulk only) - OPEN
Empire - OPEN

Rail Operations:

NOPB Rail operations have RESUMED with modified hours of operations between 7:00 am – 11:00 pm to connect with BNSF, CN, CSX, KCS, NS, and UP.
