Shipping from Pakistan to ports in the Arabian Gulf? A PSS is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming into effect from Pakistan to Arabian Gulf ports. This PSS is applicable for all dry cargo and effective from October 1st, 2021 until further notice.

The details for this PSS are listed below:

• Container size 20’ dry: USD 50
• Container size 40’ dry: USD 100
• High Cube Container size 40’ dry: USD 100

For your reference, the geographical scope of this PSS is explained below:
From Pakistan
To Arabian Gulf: UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, and Dammam and Jubail in Saudi Arabia.
