An update for MV Rome Express V. 7W in our EC2 service

Your cargo planning might be affected by the unexpected schedule changes of our vessel Rome Express V. 7W serving in our Transpacific East Coast Loop (EC2) service.

The vessel was en route to Pusan, Korea from Cartagena, Colombia, when five crew members tested positive for COVID-19. In consequence, she was diverted to Ensenada, Mexico, where three of the five crew have been admitted to a hospital while the remaining two are in quarantine.

The vessel will remain at port until the alternate crew are tested and cleared for boarding. Once they are on board, MV Rome Express will resume her voyage to Pusan.

We apologize for the inconvenience that this incident might cause, and thank you for your understanding. If you should require additional information, please contact our customer service team at your location, who will guide you based on your individual situation.
