March is upon us - here are the latest operational developments for the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, and Africa.
Indian Subcontinent – Mediterranean Express (IMX)
- MV Xin Pu Dong V256E / V257W will reinstate Karachi, Pakistan in its rotation
India – Gulf Service 1 (IG1)
- MV AS Clementina V891W / V892E will omit Khalifa Bin Salman Port, Bahrain
Kuwait Feeder (KWF)
- MV Songa Leopard V367E will leave the service in Jebel Ali, UAE and will be replaced by MV Hanza Ratzeburg V368E. The vessel exchange is expected on May 16, 2022
China - India Service (CIX)
- There will be no sailing from Kaohsiung, Taiwan (westbound) on April 3, 2022, and May 8, 2022, and from Colombo, Sri Lanka (eastbound) on April 15, 2022, and May 20, 2022
Indian Ocean Service 3 (IO3)
- MV Xin Qing Dao V210E will leave the service in Abu Dhabi, UAE expected to arrive on March 21, 2022. Karachi, Pakistan imports will discharge in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection while the Nhava Sheva and Munda, India imports will discharge in Abu Dhabi, UAE to connect with MV Xin Yan Tai.
- MV Xin Yan Tai V220W will replace MV Xin Qing Dao in Abu Dhabi, UAE planned to arrive on March 23, 2022. MV Xin Yan Tai will not call Jebel Ali and Karachi
South East India - Europe Express (IEX)
- MV Herta V2215E will leave the service by the end of May and will be replaced by MV RDO Conception V2215E. The cargo arrangement, exact exchange port and date, will be advised in due course.
South Africa Express (SAF also known as SAX)
- There will be no sailing from Durban, South Africa (northbound) on March 24, 2022.
- MV Paris II VNZ206A will omit Cape Town, South Africa (southbound) and imports will discharge in the Cape Town northbound call on voyage NZ212R.
East Africa Service 2 (EA2)
- MV Emirates Asante V02205N / V02210S will omit Nhava Sheva and Mundra, India and imports will discharge in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final port of delivery
Dakar Express (DEX)
- MV Jonathan P V2210S/N will omit Nouakchott, Mauritania
Mediterranean – West Africa Express (MWX)
- MV Seaspan Ningbo V2207S/N updated its West Africa rotation as follows: Apapa – Tin Can Island, Nigeria – Tema, Ghana – Cotonou, Benin
