Shipping from Australia and New Zealand? Here's an update on Shipping Instructions

Did you submit accurate shipping instructions?

When shipping cargo from Australia and New Zealand, please keep in mind that the port authorities at both countries must submit the shipping manifest within 48 hours after the vessel's departure. What this means for you is that you should submit your shipping instructions before the documentation cut-off to ensure that your cargo is loaded on board the vessel.

With the above in mind, we will implement the "No shipping instruction, no load policy" from June 20, 2022. This policy's goal is to help ensure the safety of your cargo, which means that if a container does not have shipping instructions by the cut-off time, it will not be loaded. For your reference, please see below two helpful assets to assist your cargo planning:

  1. Find out more about the documentation cut-off here.
  2. All booking confirmations will include the documentation cut-off timeline.

A note about cut-off times: these will be adjusted with vessels' schedule changes. Please note that any cost and consequence resulting in shutouts related to the delayed submission of shipping instructions will be at the shippers’ account.

You can use our vessel tracker to view our vessels' latest Estimated Times of Arrival and Departure. If you should require additional information, please contact our customer service team at your location, who will guide you based on your individual situation.
