Here's an update for import demurrage in Belgium and Netherlands

A revision of the demurrage charges at destination for import cargo destined to Belgium and Netherlands is coming into effect from August 15, 2022.

For your reference, please find below the details of the changes:

Import Demurrage (DMD) – All Belgium Ports

  • From day 10 to day 30 the demurrage import increases with:
    • 20' Container: EUR 10 - all container types
    • 40' Container: EUR 20 - all container types
  • From day 30 the demurrage import increases with:
    • 20' Container: EUR 25 - all container types
    • 40' Container: EUR 50 - all container types

Import Demurrage (DMD) – All Netherlands Ports

  • From day 9 onwards the demurrage import increases with:
    • 20' Container: EUR 50 - all container types
    • 40' Container: EUR 100 - all container types

Please keep in mind the following remarks:

  • Free Time conditions remain unchanged

We would like to remind you to clear your import shipments from the sea terminals in Belgium and The Netherlands, preferably within 10 days. This will help reduce the high stock levels that impact vessel operations and export shipments' delivery.
