Here's an an update for shipments from North Europe & Mediterranean to Canada, US and Mexico

The dynamic situation in the Red Sea and the necessary operational adjustments are causing disruptions throughout the network which will impact schedules and equipment supply in the Atlantic trade resulting in significantly higher cost. Therefore, a Contingency Surcharge (CSU) is coming into effect for shipments from North Europe* & Mediterranean* to Canada, US and Mexico. The CSU will be in effect from January 21, 2024 and is applicable to all carrier owned containers and all cargo types until further notice.

The details for this CSU are listed below:

  • USD 500 per TEU

*North Europe: Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Estonia, Iceland, Luxembourg
*Mediterranean: Italy, Spain, Türkiye, Egypt, Greece Portugal, South France, Black Sea, Adriatic, North Africa, Levante
