With a direct service to Rotterdam, transshipments via Tangier to reach the Med and Canada, our Citrus Connect might just be the key to your citrus cargo planning
Remember our news about the Citrus Loader in February? We developed this service to support our long-term commitment with the South African export market, covering seasonal needs during 2024 and the coming years. Since our announcement, our service has had a few positive changes that might turn your cargo planning into a citrus-licious experience!
First of all, we changed its name! Why? Because our customers told us that their citrus would be connecting seamlessly from South Africa to their major destinations. Therefore, we decided to rename our service to Citrus Connect.
The second bit is even better because our Citrus Connect transit times* just got citrus-licious! Our service will be calling Rotterdam, NL directly with a 21-day transit from Port Elizabeth and 25 days from Durban. Besides the direct connection, your citrus will be reaching the Med via Tanger, MA, over to Genoa, IT in 27 days from Durban, and 24 days from Port Elizabeth. Going further to Canada, your citrus fruit containers journey to Montreal in 41 days from Durban and 38 from Port Elizabeth.
Just to recap on the other great benefits of our service:
Our Citrus Connect will be an extension of one of our West Africa services to support the South African fresh produce industry. We are ready to provide personalized solutions, with a clear focus in quality and on-time delivery. Are you prepared to plan your shipments on our Citrus Connect?
