Shipping to and from West Africa? Here's an update for your cargo planning
Operating on the African continent? Good news are coming your way! From mid-February, we’ll expand our presence in West Africa by adding new routes to and from our hub in Tangier Med, Morocco. Shipments will connect smoothly through Hapag-Lloyd’s network, including our range of shuttle and feeder services.
Some of the highlights of our revised West Africa network include:
- Additional capacity to meet your cargo needs in the growing West African markets
- A total of five services, including the introduction of two new services, offering you increased schedule reliability
- Improved transit times for your imports to Abidjan and exports from Dakar and Abidjan
- Two new ports in our portfolio: Lome (Togo) and Onne (Nigeria)
- Services fully operated by Hapag-Lloyd for maximum flexibility and reliability
- WA1: Tanger Med, Morocco -> Dakar, Senegal -> Abidjan, Ivory Coast -> Tanger Med, Morocco
