Shipping from Asia and Oceania to Tanzania? A PSS is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming into effect for all shipments from Asia and Oceania* to the port of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. This PSS is applicable for all sailings commencing on April 7, 2025 until further notice.

The details for this PSS are listed below:

• USD 200 per 20'
• USD 400 per 40'
• All container types

*Asia and Oceania: Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Island
