Shipping from East Asia to North America? A PSS is coming up
A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming into effect from East Asia* to North America*.
*Please note that the implementation date of this Peak Season Surcharge has been moved from May 12, 2025 to June 1, 2025.
This PSS is applicable for all containers gated in from June 1, 2025* until further notice.
The details for this PSS are listed below:
- USD 1000 per 20' container
- USD 2000 per 40' and 40' High Cube container
For your reference, the geographical scope of this PSS is explained below:
*East Asia: Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan (PRC), Hong Kong (PRC), China (PRC), Macau (PRC), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia and the Philippines
*North America: United States and Canada
