Implementation of Russia/Belarus clause in Bill of Lading for selected countries

To comply with EU sanctions and our internal compliance policies, Hapag-Lloyd has added a Russia/Belarus clause to our Bill of Lading. This clause prohibits any direct or indirect involvement in the export, re-export, or import of goods to or from Russia and Belarus. Effective immediately, the clause will automatically apply when the Port of Loading (POL) and/or Port of Discharge (POD) is in one of the following countries:

• China
• Turkiye
• UAE
• Kazakhstan
• India
• Hong Kong
• Singapore
• Vietnam
• Armenia
• Georgia
• Finland
• Estonia
• Latvia
• Lithuania
• Poland
• Bulgaria
• Romania
• Netherlands
• Germany
• Kyrgyzstan
• Azerbaijan
• Uzbekistan
